Stationary calibration rigs SPU-5 are used for calibration of gas meters with standard sizes from G1.6 to G40 inclusive. Calibration of gas meters is based on comparison of the results of simultaneous measurements of air volume by the gas meter being calibrated and by the rig. The result of volume measurements by means of the rig is adopted as the actual value.

Purpose:

Stationary calibration rigs SPU-5 are used for calibration of gas meters with standard sizes from G1.6 to G40 inclusive.

Features:

The rig allows calibrating any meter types:

  • membrane;
  • jet
  • ultrasonic;
  • rotary.

Meters standard sizes:

  • From G1.6 to G10;
  • From G1.6 to G16;
  • From G1.6 to G25;
  • From G1.6 to G40.

Control automation levels:

Semi-automatic - manual start/stop of flow rate recording.

Fully automatic calibration procedure - the automatic equipment itself establishes the calibration flow rates, according to the preset calibration program and records the calibration procedure results.

Calibration of gas meters is based on comparison of the results of simultaneous measurements of air volume by the gas meter being calibrated and by the rig. The result of volume measurements by means of the rig is adopted as the actual value.

The reference in the rig are the nozzles operating in the critical mode. Each nozzle of the rig is used for setting a certain volumetric flow rate of air, the value whereof depends on the area (diameter) of the nozzle neck.

The rig allows arranging continuous calibration of meters, thanks to the possibility of group calibration - up to 10 pcs.

The fully automatic calibration procedure excludes the human factor.
