Purpose:
The thermal shutoff valve "Grand" is designed for automatic shut-off of the pipeline, supplying gas to domestic or industrial equipment, if the pipeline temperature exceeds 93°C.
Field of application:
The valve is installed indoors upstream of the shut-off device on the gas pipeline. The valve is a housing inside which is a spring-loaded shut-off element held in the open position by a stop with a fusible insert. In case of fire, the fusible inset melts, the shut-off element releases and shuts off the gas flow.
