Design-configured controller DON-Turbo
Organization of two-way data exchange between the controller and upper-level software, сontrol and synchronization of extension module operation and management of controller configuration.
The module is used for galvanically isolated intrinsically safe connection of devices and sensors with a discrete output of the "dry contact" type, as well as data reception from instruments with a pulse (frequency) output.
The module is used for controller's autonomous operation at facilities without electric power supply.
The module is used for connection and receiving of data from instruments and devices with a digital output RS-232\RS-485, including with organization of the so-called "transparent channel" for broadcasting of messages (commands) between the connecting device and upper- level software.
Purpose:
The design-configured controller is used for:
- construction of industrial systems of data management and acquisition;
- production process control;
- monitoring and accident notification.
The controller's leading module is the base module ensuring control and data transfer between the extension modules. The extension modules can exchange data via an internal or external bus. When all modules are installed on a mounting rail (DIN-rail), exchange is via an internal bus, while the extension modules are physically connected to the base module. If it is needed to install an extension module remotely from the other modules, it is connected via an external data bus.
The controller's modular logic assures a number of advantages over devices of the single-block configuration:
- Simple and easy functionality extension;
- Convenient processing of signals from devices located in different premises;
- High repairability;
- Absence of excessive unnecessary functionality.
